My prestigious Corby based client is looking to recruit an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and professional organisation.


Day to day management of the Site Repair & Maintenance Team and the Event & Site Set Up Team

Manage and control the supply of appropriate utilities to meet the business requirements throughout the year.

Assist with traffic management at public events, and ensure that the venue complies with the safety standards required by the Safety Advisory Group and local authorities.

Liaise with local councils in respect of planning, licensing, environmental issues and traffic management.

Safely and cost effectively ensure the licensing, maintenance and upkeep of the site equipment and infrastructure either in-house or via external contractors, in compliance with relevant legislation and in the most cost effective way.

Take specific responsibility for all areas Building side of the site as well as external infrastructure.

Ensure all activities operate efficiently, to budget and to the required quality and Health & Safety standards

To contract manage outsourced facilities management contracts.



* Committed to upholding Health & Safety, holding as a minimum the NEBOSH National General Certificate * Significant experience in Facilities Management * Strong leadership and communication skills and good time management
* Experience in soft and hard services and management of external contractors, including writing specifications and tendering for contracts * Experience in project management, planning and delivery of events from 1 - 20,000 * A good financial understanding and budget modelling ability * Hold a full driving licence


* Computer literate in MS Office packages, an understanding of networking and backend server products would be beneficial * Able to manage, develop, train and recruit a team * Have experience of working with government organisations * An interest in Motorsport


* Ability to multitask and prioritise workload as well as work under pressure and think dynamically and deliver service required * Strong interpersonal communication skills * Strong customer service orientation * Highly Self-motivated and proactive * Keen attention to detail - 'it will do' isn't good enough
