Professional Services support a key element of the business, within this role you will gain an understanding of finance and business principles through supporting the team in a number of areas.

As a professional services apprentice, you will support the business to improve and grow. This apprenticeship provides an entry route across specialist professional areas, covering aspects such as auditing, tax, business advice, and development.

Throughout the apprenticeship, you will undertake duties such as;

- assisting in the delivery of consulting projects for external or internal clients
- work as part of a team supporting the engagement leadership
- support the tracking and management of key accounts and relationships
- carry out internal and external communications activities
- support client account teams in relationship management and business development
- assisting in the preparation of tax returns
- completion of various tax forms
- prepare simple accounting statements
- carry out research to support work
- conducting sections of an audit
- checking financial records
- reviewing assets

Throughout this apprenticeship, you will play a vital role in supporting the management of business opportunities using evidence to develop dynamic solutions. You will use information of all kinds, not just financial, to inform the strategy and help guide the future business. Professional Services is about looking beyond numbers and spreadsheets but using key data and strategies to add real value to a company.

Completion of this apprenticeship could lead to roles in areas such as Human Resources, Management, and Quality Control.

Future Prospects
The successful completion of this apprenticeship could allow for progression to qualifications at a higher level or a full time position within this or another organisation.

Qualifications Required

- Grade C or above in both Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
- 2 A levels (or equivalent) in a business or finance related subject
