An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Engineer (with a minimum of 5 years of experience) to join a friendly, dynamic Structures team in a vibrant office based near Wakefield. A well-established Civil and Structural Consultancy, our client works on a mix of interesting Building Structures ventures across Residential, Commercial and Industrial sectors. Working as part of a close-knit, expert Structures team you'll work on projects from inception through to completion stage using a range of contemporary materials (steel, concrete, timber and masonry) and continue progression towards Chartership.

In order to be considered for this Senior Project Engineer role you will;

* Have gained a strong degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (a Masters being preferred)
* You'll have gained a minimum of 5 years (or more) experience working on Building Structures projects
* You will have experience designing using contemporary materials
* Any previous experience completing survey work would be beneficial though not essential
* You'll have a working knowledge of AutoCAD
* Any previous experience using TEKLA/Revit and/or TEDDS would be beneficial
* You will have strong communication skills both written and verbal
* You will work well as part of a dynamic, close knit, Structures Team
* You will feel comfortable leading and mentoring Graduates and Technicians
* Being local to the area would be a distinct advantage

Working as a Senior Project Engineer you will;

* Generate designs/reports/calculations and specifications
* You will conduct site visits
* Generate survey report
* Work on a mix of interesting projects from inception through to completion
* Attend client liaison meetings
* Assist with Fee and Bid proposals
* Make progress towards Chartership
