DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1 Skilled CNC machining to close tolerances (Turning / Milling / Drilling ).

1 Accurate use of mechanical measuring instruments.

1 Mechanical fitting / finishing.

1 One off and small batch production, working largely unsupervised and on own initiative.

1 Producing prototype assemblies in association with members of the Engineering Department.

1 Assist in problem solving to overcome any production difficulties.

1 Assist in the development and production of special purpose tooling for in house production / testing

1 Advise the Production Manager of any deficiencies noted on drawings or unsuitability of specified tolerances / materials for production purposes.
