If you are an aspiring IT Technician with a true passion for IT and looking to kick start your career whilst earning an attractive wage and gaining industry qualifications, which are valued globally and throughout the IT community, then this could be the role for you.

This is an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join the organisation with the potential of progression upon successful completion of the programme. Throughout the Apprenticeship, you will be mentored by existing members of staff and trained to provide IT support in order to resolve technical issues.

You could gain experience across a variety of IT related disciplines, such as; Network Engineer, System Analyst, Technical Support and Software Development.

Duties you will be involved in could include:

- Answering Helpdesk calls
- Assisting with system builds and repairs
- Learn how to maintain and support our range of network infrastructures
- Help to implement fixes and improvements to ensure our networks work efficiently.
- Maintenance of the Technical Information Database
- Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy working environment
- Assisting with General Administration as required
- Hardware and software repairs and installation
- Diagnosing and problem solving across a range of devices

Throughout the Apprenticeship you will be mentored by existing members of staff and trained to provide IT support in order to resolve technical issues. You’ll take on a diverse range of challenges – all while earning industry recognised qualifications tailored to your talents and ambitions. If you have a genuine passion for IT and systems and an intellectually curious approach to work, you’ll learn everything you’ll need to become a technical professional.

Future Prospects
The successful completion of this apprenticeship could allow for progression to qualifications at a Higher Level or a full time position within this or another organisation.

Qualifications Required

- Grade C or above in both Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
- An IT qualification would be desirable.
