They provide a business intelligence tool which enables companies and brands truly understand their marketing content and provides insight behind the content specific audiences will love. Due to the success of our clients marketing SaaS platform, they look to grow their business by recruiting a Senior Business Development Manager.

As the Senior Business Development Manager you will be working for a unique start-up who have been VC backed by top UK and US investors, already generating over £2M+ and looking to forecast significant month on month growth!

With their short time in the market, already they have huge brands working with them such as GSK, Nestle, Gucci and Virgin Media.

About The Senior Business Development Manager Role

As the Senior Business Development Manager you will have an exciting opportunity to work in an exciting sector and gain exposure to some fantastic brands. You will play a vital role in working closely with the executive team in helping develop and execute their sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Business Development Manager:

* Collaborating with the current team to prospect and identify new target sectors, businesses and clients
* Identify key decision makers, typically CMO, Brand Directors, Heads of Marketing etc.
* Meet with clients face-to-face, build long term relations, seek opportunities where best to upsell, upgrade and
* Providing online demonstrations to educate clients on the product

About You

If you are currently in a content marketing, marketing software/ SaaS, role or are currently working as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, New Business Hunter this is the ideal next step in your sales career within Marketing SaaS.

Essential Skills and Competencies of the Senior Business Development Manager:

* 3+ years B2B SaaS experience with a track record in achieving and delivering against targets + quotas
* Strong preference for marketing software led sales, experience in selling SaaS into brands
* Proven ability to manage sales cycles from initiation through to close
* Entrepreneurial charisma with the ability to work in a start-up environment

The Senior Business Development Manager receives a highly competitive salary paying from £60,000 to £70,000 + £100K OTE depending on experience, shares/ equity and excellent company benefits.
