Our client, a successful manufacturing organisation, is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their friendly team on a 3-month temporary basis.

To be successful in your application you must have excellent working knowledge of Sage 200.

Duties and responsibilities:

* Matching, batching and coding of supplier invoices and entering them on Sage 200
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Allocate and deliver items via Purchase Order Processing on Sage
* Preparation of payment runs (BACS)
* Reconciliation of expenses and fuel accounts
* Working closely with external suppliers and resolving queries



Skills and experience required:

* Minimum of 2 years previous experience within a similar accounts role
* Excellent working knowledge of Sage Line 200 (Essential)
* Numerate with a good eye for detail
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment and support other areas when needed
* Good working knowledge of Excel is desirable



Hours:

* Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm (30 mins lunch) - part-time hours will be considered



Salary and benefits:

* Up to £22,000 dependent upon experience
* 20 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
* On-site parking
