We are looking for a well rounded, thoughtful HR Training professional to join our client's busy Chelmsford office as HR Training Lead.

Our Client is a large Highways Engineering Company operating UK-wide.

To be considered for this position, you must have strong knowledge of CITB

As HR Training Lead, you will have responsibility and accountability for ensuring all employee training records are kept up-to-date and can be relied upon to provide accurate information.

You will have a pro-active approach to the training provision, ensuring the business meet mandatory requirements plus maximise the team's development with additional training.

In brief you will…

* Be key point of contact for all training matters.
* Pro-actively engage with teams to maximise the training provision across all contracts.
* Assist in the production of company/contract training plans.
* Ensure all training information is received from managers and contracts and recorded on the HR database.
* Maintain all electronic and paper employee training records
* Liaise with training providers to enable training provision
* Prepare annual reports and summaries to enable funding and claw-backs for all relevant training courses.
* Manage and undertake the administration of training activities including liaising with all stakeholders.
* Ensure training needs are identified and updated on Simply Personnel/ Dynamics.
* Assist Head of HR with strategic training plan.
* Occasional travel across sites may be required.

About You…

You are an experience Training professional and will have ideally worked in a leading position in the past. You must have strong knowledge and understanding of CITB claims and processes.

This position would suit an analytical and numerical person with strong organizational skills. Excellent communication in all mediums and at all levels is essential.

Ideally you would be proficient in the use of a HR Information System or similar.
