We are looking for a talented and experienced engineer with prior utilities work in their portfolio of work to undertake a long-term contract with a leading tier 1 principal contractor in Scarborough. This is an ideal position for you if you possess not only the required experience, but are a confident and able manager and are keen to demonstrate your leadership qualities.

You will have proven experience within the waste water and water treatment environment and will thrive working for a highly respected tier 1 principal contractor. Ideally, your background will be construction on major civil engineering projects including water treatment works and your CV will be a showcase of continuous contracts working on large scale projects. Water treatment and waste water experience is essential to this role so this will be essential criteria for your application.

For this long-term contract, your key duties and responsibilities will include:
*Managing site staff including Site Engineers and subcontractors
*Compiling of Method Statements and risk analysis
*Overseeing the setting out and as-builts
*Monitor and implement weekly programs
*Interpreting and implementing of the construction process and procedure
*Ensuring the works are constructed according to the design and specifications
*Quality control in accordance to the specifications
*Permit clearances, RFIs, daily records, etc.
*Health and Safety compliance

This position is suited to a capable and organised Section Engineer who has previous experience in leading a team. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your engineering skills and progress your career whilst benefitting from working for one of the leading organisations within this sector.

If you believe you have the right skills and experience for this role, you will also need to demonstrate:
*HND or Degree in Civil Engineering
*Extensive continuous construction experience on large civil engineering projects especially on utilities including treatment works (water and waste water treatment works) as a Section Engineer
*Experience in piping, drainage and concrete construction
*Commissioning experience is advantageous.
*CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid.
*EUSR Water hygiene card
