Do you have experience working as an Accounts Assistant and are currently looking for your next move? Would you like to join a friendly accounts team within an international organisation? If so my client would like to hear from you.

Duties and responsibilities:

* You will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling General Ledger (GL) accounts
* Preparing, recording and analysing GL transactions
* Although you will not directly process the Purchase Ledger, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy
* You must have prior finance experience ideally within a medium to large organisation
* Be competent in carrying out complex reconciliations, posting customer payments, billing customers, producing reports and presenting findings back to management
* You will have an analytical mind with the ability to focus on the smaller details

Skills and experience required:

* Previous experience within a similar accounts role
* Working with an ERP systems such as: Dimensions, AX, Access, SAP, SUN or Dynamics
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment and support other areas when needed
* A good working knowledge of Excel would be advantageous


* Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm (1 hour for lunch)

Salary and benefits:

* Up to £22,000 dependent upon experience
* 23 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
