The Role:

* The Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling a range of hard landscape products including paving, flagstones, curbs and edges, garden walling, paths and driveways into independent merchants
* As a Business development Manager you will be negotiating commercial deals with independent builders merchants, understanding their needs, selling them packages to secure the supply of the range of products into these independent merchants
* The role as Business Development Manager also involves logging information and tracking activity on the dedicated CRM system with a guideline of 4-7 calls per day
* Initially this role will involve 70% New Business Development, acquiring new customers and securing new deals.
* This is very much a client facing role so will require the right Sales Representative to have the ability to converse, build and maintain relationships at all levels of responsibility at any point in the process of the sale, including after sales care, ensuring the highest level of customer focus in order to meet their Customer Service Promise and ultimately outperform the competition.
* The target for this Sales Representative role will be based on an incremental increase in turnover from independent merchants, as well as a proportion of conversion of business coming through Domestic Products.

* Must have dealt with independent builders merchants
* The successful Sales Representative will have the personality to build genuine and long lasting relationships with all levels of professional responsibility, internally and externally.
