You will have strong experience working directly with children and know how to run a home for children. In this role you will be in charge of the running of the home and doing shifts as required. You will also be in charge of recruiting staff and training your team (after you are trained yourself to deliver training).

As registered manager, you will also have the opportunity to complete your social work training to become HCPC registered. You will be part of a 5 year career plan to include NVQ Level 5 in leadership and management.
