gap personnel are looking for an enthusiastic and creative marketing graduate to join their small but well-established team based in the heart of Liverpool city centre. Ideally you will have a minimum of 18 months-2 years' experience in a marketing role and will be ready for your next genuine career move.

This is a brand-new role that presents an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, highly motivated self-starter who is passionate about marketing and delivering powerful communications. This is a broad and varied role where you will be required to 'wear many hats' and as such gap personnel will support and invest in training for the right candidate to ensure their success.

What will your responsibilities look like?
gap personnel are embarking on a very exciting period of growth as the company invests in the expansion and development of the marketing team with a view to relaunching the company's marketing strategy in 2017. Working with our passionate and friendly team in Liverpool, you will be reporting into our Bid Manager and will be supported by our Senior Marketing Executive, who is currently fulfilling the marketing needs of the wider gap personnel group.

You will have the unique opportunity to be involved in a full review of the current marketing processes, the development of a new marketing strategy in partnership with an external specialist, and its subsequent implementation and execution. There really is huge potential for career development and progression, and this opportunity is unlikely to be around for long.

The ideal candidate:
* Educated to degree level in a marketing or marketing related discipline
* Possess superb attention to detail with a commitment to the highest quality of output and accuracy
* Proven experience at juggling multiple campaigns across digital, PPC, print, email & particularly social media marketing, with experience in common marketing platforms
* Excellent level of verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within the business
* IT literate including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
* Ambitious, actively looking for opportunities to learn and to develop themselves and enhance their knowledge, skills and competencies, in order to perform more efficiently
* Ability to plan effectively and prioritise a varied workload. Excellent project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time within a fast-paced environment
* Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate - able to provide examples of previous work
* Ability to understand and interpret data from a variety of sources - ideally an interest in Google analytics
* Has a positive impact on team members, is a team player and is well respected amongst peers
* Ability to seek solutions to any problems or issues that arise by drawing on their knowledge and experience

We anticipate the role will eventually encompass all of the following areas, and while experience across these disciplines would be desirable, we will support and invest in training for the right candidate to ensure their success.

Digital Marketing
* Design and deliver all e-mail campaigns, supporting the needs of each division across the business, tracking open/click rates
* Design and post updates and new pages for the website for each division, including testimonials and case studies, candidate advice, salary surveys etc.
* Bring new social media ideas to the department that engage both our clients and candidates

Other Marketing Channels
* Work with the Bid Team to produce business literature and leaflets, taking all associated costs into account in line with the marketing budget
* Design and support regular mailshots
* Produce advertisement content for industry journals and publications
* Work with the Bid Manager to plan exhibitions, conferences, seminars and other industry events

Brand Integrity and Innovation
* Work with the Bid Team to ensure all sales and marketing collateral is accurate, and maintains the integrity of the brand
* Keep up to date on industry news and market trends for each division to ensure material produced is relevant and current
* Keep all marketing collateral up to date and relevant to the needs of the divisions

Marketing Support and ROI
* Preparing and reporting marketing statistics and key measurements
* Support with ad hoc projects and any other required tasks
* Support the development and training of a newly appointed Digital Marketing Apprentice
