Established in 2009, City and County Healthcare are the UK’s largest provider of domiciliary care. The City and County Group has an extensive network of local branches across the UK and due to continuous expansion, we are looking for a talented Bid and Tender Writer/Manager to join our Senior Management team. This role is home based. The majority of our services are commissioned by local authorities (or health and social care trusts in Northern Ireland), but we also provide services to NHS commissioners and to a growing number of private individuals. We require an experienced Bid Manager and Tender Writer to produce professionally written content for invitations to tender, PQQ’s, proposals, expressions of interest, case studies and presentations in order to retain existing contracts and secure new business. An understanding of the health and social market and CCG commissioning and processes is essential to the role. The Bid Manager and Tender Writer will be expected to:

Coordinate bids and tender opportunities alongside the Head of Bids and Contracts and Bid and Contracts Coordinator;*
Write bespoke content for submissions;*
Develop win themes and value propositions for invitations to tender, PQQ’s, proposals, expressions of interest, case studies and presentations;*
Organise and attend bid kick off meetings;*
Draft written responses drawing on previous submissions in the library, policy research and local research;*
Ensure bid and tender documentation is properly formatted, collated and presented in a professional and timely manner;*
Be familiar with best practice and policy recommendations relating to health and social care*

Proofread written documentation prior to submission;*
Work flexibly in order to meet tight deadlines
This is a full-time, permanent position with the opportunity to work with one of the most experienced and capable senior management teams in the social care sector
