At CuraCare we are currently looking for a Care Assistants to join our team based in Twickenham. The successful candidates will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a competitive rate starting from £9.75 p/h on weekdays to £11.25 per hour on weekends, plus double pay on bank holidays, expenses allowance, 28 days paid holiday, career progression opportunities and 24hour support network. We are one of only three London Living Wage employers in the care sector.

CuraCare is a family run care provider, based in Twickenham. Our care services cover everything from half-hour visits to 24/7 live-in care. We operate throughout the London Borough of Richmond and the surrounding areas.

About the Care Assistant role

We are currently looking for a new Care Assistants; the role is varied and involves helping elderly people to live independently in their own homes. Tasks will vary between clients and may include helping with personal care (washing and dressing), preparing meals, supporting with medication, shopping, escorting to various appointments and providing companionship.

The Care Assistant duties and key responsibilities:

- To support and care for our clients in their own homes

- Provide companionship and personal care

- Medication administration

- Meal preparation, shopping and light domestic duties

Our ideal Care Assistants will exhibit the following characteristics:

- A genuine, caring and responsible personality.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Live in, or close to, the Richmond borough.

- Own transport is desirable, though not essential.

- We accept applications from experienced Carers as well as individuals wanting to work in care for the first time.
