Business Development Executive Job description:
The Business Developers main responsibility is to generate new business accounts through face to face sales, telephone lead generation and networking; while being supported by a telesales team. Target markets
are the SME sector as well as large national accounts.

Business Development Executive are responsible for managing the full sales cycle including tenders/proposals and you work closely with all Leyton departments and business units to ensure all necessary reports and documents are
completed accurately and on time.

We service a wide variety of customers across all sectors of industry therefore the Business Development Executive will involve visiting a variety of different businesses. This is a field based role and involve you
to work nationally with an expected split of 2 days in the office and 3 days in the field.

Business Development Executives are expected to make a minimum of 100 cold calls per week and attend 18 meetings a month. These are generated through your own lead generation and also through a dedicated London & Glasgow based telesales team.

An ideal candidate for the Business Development Executive role should have the following:
· 3 years field sales experience
· A natural sales ability you must be confident, articulate and can demonstrate your persuasive
· Educated to degree level or equivalent
· Willingness to travel UK wide

Key Business Development Executive KPIs:
· 8 Self-generated meeting per month
· Attend 18 meeting per month
· Secure 6 new contracts per month
· Generated £420,000 per annum

Business Development Executive Package:
· £60K per year - £38k basic £22k commission
