A German speaking Events Operations Director is currently sought by our client, an international leisure events company. Expanding internationally, the company is undergoing a period of growth, with many new events foreseen in the UK, Germany and across Europe. The Events Management Operations Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and supervising organising, coordinating and managing events in Germany. This role is based in the company's head office in London, but requires frequent travel to Germany.

Responsibilities for the German speaking Events Operations Director will include:

* Managing a team of events coordinators
* You will be in charge of all events organised in Germany by this company
* Manage and organise events (including location research, rates negotiation and confirming concept) in the UK and Germany
* Co-ordinate all internal services and external providers as necessary for presentations and demonstrations
* Prepare all event documentation in English or German as required
* Manage welcome and successful settling in of attendees and ensure smooth running of the event
* Managing and recruiting the team as required

Profile:

* German to native level with fluent English
* Previous operations management, experience in running a venue, must have strong team leading skills
* Previous experience in events coordination, event management, event planning required
* Travel to Germany required
* Strong organisational skills, timekeeping and planning
* Knowledge of MS Office
* Strong team player but able to work independently
