Our client a Main Dealership in Blackburn are looking for a Warranty Administrator to join their team. As an Administrator you will have previous experience working within a parts department or workshop.

This Aftersales Administrator role involves raising invoices for work carried out in our four busy workshops as well as dealing with warranty claims with the manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have previous mechanical knowledge, either from a parts or technical background.

They will be organised and have the ability to work on their own initiative while adhering to the departmental practices and procedures. They will ensure that all necessary documentation and parts for return are processed in line with the vehicle R&M and warranty procedures.

Main duties:
Receive all job cards with agreed R&M and warranty items and input claim details, i.e. labour item codes and part numbers. You will produce R&M and warranty invoices and transmit to R&M and warranty providers, ensuring all claims are transmitted. Identify from R&M and warranty returns which parts are for return and those for disposal, and inform the relevant parts department of action.

Check all claims rejected and resubmit errors or, in conjunction with manager, investigate reason for rejection. Return documentation for rejected warranty items for re-costing by service administration. Participate in R&M and warranty audits as required.

Ensure that the image and level of customer service within the department is in line with company standards. Ensure that all customer complaints are dealt with both speedily and effectively, and that any unresolved problems are referred to a supervisor
