Kingsley Consulting is supporting one of the UK’s largest merchant of roofing-related products, solutions, and services now requiring a professional Key Accounts Manager to join and help with the continuous growth and development of the business.

The company provides the most outstanding solutions and services within the Roofing Industry, working with multiple manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors nationwide.

For this Key Account Manager position, it is essential to have a background in similar industries such as Construction to facilitate your application, even for an immediate immersion in the role a full 8 weeks training programme on products, solutions, and services, will be provided.

Working from home, you will be mainly responsible for the effective management of between 20 and 60 key accounts within the area - East Anglia, Essex and East London. The remaining, circa 10% - 20% of your role activity will be to generate and through the sales process, B2B, B2C, cold calling, networking, etc, in order to develop and build strong relationships with management and key decision makers of all stakeholders including specialist roofing contractors, specifiers, and potential clients.

A Full UK driving license and the ability to travel and work away from home are a prerequisite.

Responsibilities
• Primary focus will be to establish, develop and build business relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key membrane manufacturers and contractors within the industry;
• Achievement of budget and effective management of 20-60 key accounts
• 90% of activity will be on account management and 10% on bringing in new business.

Experience
• High degree of integrity;
• Experience and proficiency in managing sales processes from conception to close
• Significant experience of selling into the construction industry, or roofing market;
• B2B sales background is essential;
• Demonstrable track record of achieving previous budgets and targets;
• Knowledge and ability to use a CRM is advantageous;
