Entry level Trainee Sports Recruitment Consultant, London
Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 Basic, OTE £35,000 first year earnings with uncapped commission potential.
Our client is looking for a highly ambitious, results-orientated individual with a passion for sports and a strong work-ethic. This start-up based in Shoreditch come with a wealth of experience and contacts from over 10 years working in headhunting consultancy across the sporting space. Working within the sports recruitment consultancy industry is a fast-paced environment that allows successful candidates on the job responsibility from day one with training and the opportunity to earn commission from the start.
The role requires the ability to work well within the sports recruitment sector and the ability to identify good quality candidates to put forward to our FTSE 250 clients. By working alongside experienced professionals within the industry you'll have the chance to source your own candidates through a mixture of advertising, networking and headhunting and then qualify them and put them forward to our top tier clients.
Your responsibilities don't end there, once your candidate is offered a role from the clients it's then your responsibility to manage the negotiation process to reach an agreement with which both parties are happy with. Building further client portfolios is also your responsibility so you have the chance to network with high profile professionals within the industry to further your skills and make a name for yourself with clients.
With uncapped commission potential and OTE earnings of £35k 1st year earnings, £70k 2nd year earnings and £100k+ 3rd year earnings the opportunity to earn a great salary is very real.

Previous successful consultants have demonstrated the following criteria:
- Come from a top 50 university with a 2:2 or above.
- Money motivation and the drive to further their career.
- Natural communication skills both on the phone and in person.
- Come from a sales background or have the ability and interest in moving into a fast paced recruitment and sales role.
- Confidence to be the face of the business when dealing with high net worth clients to build lasting relationships.
