Qualified Metallurgist / Engineer / Material Scientist. Visit and provide advice to UK based companies on metal treatment. Influence regulatory bodies related to HSE, chemical, ISO, BSI standards. Interpret codes and legislation surrounding metal treatment.

Salary Guideline: £35,000 - £45,000 + car

The job will involve:
• Providing technical leadership, advice and support to clients on all matters related to metal treatment processes.
• Engage with standards development and regulatory bodies at local, national and international level with regards to heat treatment, chemical, environmental and Health & Safety regulations.
• Lead the interpretation of standards, codes, legislation and guidance documents to provide timely advice to clients
• Managing technical staff
• Work closely with marketing team for business development activities
• Deliver training and technical presentations to clients
• Manage internal and external work groups, sub-committees and committees as required to deliver agreed objectives
