Experienced Credit controller required for our client, a leading retail business based in West London.

This is a fantastic role for a candidate to take sole responsibility for the Credit Control of this highly successful International Company. You will need to be able to work independently; managing the credit collections activities. It will cover all aspects from new account applications, setting credit limits, credit reviews and collections.

This role would suit someone working towards an accountancy qualification ACCA/CIMA

Key skills:

* 3 years experience working in Credit Control
* IT Skills - good knowledge and use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), SAP experience preferred or similar ERP systems
* Very strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external clients

Role will include:

* Sole Responsibility for the Credit Management
* Responsible for setting, and reviewing credit limits and analysing the risk inherent in debtor procedures
* Responsible for the front line customer communications, reconciling open balances, arranging payments, identifying disputes, and errors
* Reviewing and blocking or releasing orders as necessary within operational deadlines

* Ensuring receipts are correctly banked, posted and accounted for within the SAP system
* Consulting Business Managers, Client Services and Management as necessary to ensure appropriate awareness of debtor statuses, problem accounts
* Creating and posting credit notes or invoices for supplementary charges
* Support business review procedures such as Margin Analysis, Annual Rebate and Auditing
* Produce regular reports and ledger analysis for management and colleagues
