Sales Manager (Recruitment - New business)

Job description

This is a varied and demanding role with accountability for the acquisition of new customers to join the Jobs board.

Managing a sales team of 8 you will possess strong leadership and coaching skills to effectively manage and develop a variety of experience levels within your team, including team leaders, senior sales executives and new starters.

The core objective of your team will be to introduce new customers to
the unique recruitment proposition and to convert them to trial and ultimately subscribe to mid-long term contracts.

Understanding and capitalizing on the ability to deliver quality response, especially in their 5 core industry sectors, you will develop sales initiatives and packages to offer a best-in-class service to new customers.

Successful management and the development of your team is critical to achieve the businesses highly incentivized commission targets. You will need to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence as well as strong sales skills in a classified/recruitment environment.

Creating and managing customer leads will be essential in driving new revenues to achieve monthly targets.

This role also requires experienced operational skills to create flexible and adaptable plans and reports to support growth strategies.

The role also requires an ability to build rapport with customers and various stakeholders across the wider business, so the candidate must be approachable and sincere.

This role will report into the Head of Recruitment Sales.

Role Requirements

• At least 4-5 years sales management experience
• Experience in telesales, sales training, performance development and coaching skills; recruitment & HR disciplines
• Target focused
• Running effective sales team meetings, financial evaluation & forecasting
• Pipeline and sales leads management
• Enjoy working in a pressured but fun environment.
• Meet or exceed all published standards measured weekly, monthly and YTD.
• Creative approach to problem-solving.
• Demonstrate ability to make decisions, take ownership and make judgment calls.
• Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Self-motivated, good team player and excellent presenting skills
• Technically adept, with experience using Salesforce, Excel, Office and CRM applications.
• To report on team KPI’s, data management and overall performance
