Role: Account Manager / Territory: South West/South

Reporting to: Sales Director/Manager

Baobab Sales Recruitment is very pleased to be representing a fantastic media client in the South looking for a Regional Account Manager to cover the South West patch to drive their B2B advertising for large and SME companies.

They are looking for experienced sales candidates and most importantly personable, reliable, trustworthy, target driven with a customer focus, who can build relationships and develop new business.

The position will be working remotely in the Reading area, and will be provided a laptop, they will be expected to attend sales meeting and training in our Basingstoke office, but ideally live in the Reading, Bracknell, Wokingham area.

What the job entails:

As an account manager for this organisation, you will need to know your local territory and be able to spot commercial opportunities by generating new business leads and identifying, understanding and satisfying current clients’ business requirements. Ultimately, you will be expected to meet individual monthly sales targets.

You won’t be alone however. You will be working with a talented support team to get your campaigns to air. It will be your job to co-ordinate, manage and deliver this dedicated group of sponsorship, promotions, Interactive and creative experts to deliver fantastic media solutions for your clients.

What are we looking for?

Well you must have excellent communication skills. A background in sales, preferably in media would also be ideal. You need to be comfortable with meeting sales targets and strong organisational skills will be a necessity.

You will require a lot of self-motivation, commercial acumen and above all a ‘can do’ attitude.
