Due to continued success and growth within the group, this industry leading business are looking for a Payroll Manager to join the finance team. Based in Manchester City Centre, this company have expanded globally setting up multiple offices and can offer the successful candidate excellent progression, development and career opportunities.

As a Payroll Manager, your responsibilities will include:

* Full responsibility for the payroll function and manage a team of 4

* Ensure payroll teams complete weekly Limited Company/Umbrella Payroll, including weekly RTI submission
* Completion of Quarterly and YE payroll submission for Limited Company customers and manage all customer communications
* Take responsibility for process improvement, improving the accuracy and efficiency of the Service delivery process and identifying and implementing changes where necessary
* Manage and supervise the workload of the team to optimise service provision and forecast your required resource
* Any other duties that are deemed necessary to support the business

You will have:

* Strong working experience in a Payroll Manager capacity or similar dealing with LTD company, umbrella and contract payroll
* CIPP qualified (minimum foundation degree)
* Proven ability to manage people, mentoring, coaching, succession planning and performance management
* Experience of risk controls and change management
* Experience of process improvement and implementation and business process re-engineering a distinct advantage
* Proven ability to work under pressure achieving stretching and tight deadlines
* Strong organisational and leadership skills
