Our client is accountable for an internal global service which includes the management of demand and delivery & support capabilities for an internally developed bespoke workflow environment across all internal business units. This service currently provides support services for 25,000+ internal customers across 80 countries.
The scope of this service includes the provision of any applicable business process which requires controls and compliance to a mandatory workflow. The IT Project Manager is essential for the service to maintain its current business critical level of service, and is to be located in the UK at our client’s headquarters due to reporting requirements to the client UK Director who will also be located at the same premises.


• Third party vendor management – review and manage statement of work, release Purchase Orders in-time and approve invoices
• Support the delivery of key projects successfully to fulfill business commitments
• Taking right decisions considering Cost, Users and Quality processes
• Work closely with Project Managers & Business Process Subject Matter Experts to help produce and clarify system requirements. This is facilitated through a deep knowledge of the bespoke technical framework, its capabilities & limitations
• Provide technical expertise in both estimation and implementation of new projects and reports, as project costs are recovered from business units
• Interact with the Quality Assurance team to resolve issues found during testing.
• Produce technical support documentation as required
• Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues encountered in the production environment
• Deliver prototypes rapidly for time sensitive business requirements
• Technically configure existing global process templates to new countries. Adapt changes to existing mandatory business workflow to accommodate new business rules
• Technically configure new reports and adapt changes to existing reports, within the bespoke workflow framework
• Coordination with remote delivery teams who work in different time zone


Required Skills (Essential):

• Must have at least 2+ years of experience supporting business process workflow services within a global pharmaceutical environment
• Must have at least 2 years of experience with eForms, a global proprietary workflow framework and the capabilities and limitations
• Must have 5+ years of overall IT Experience
• Must have demonstrated understanding of a highly complex and customized bespoke workflow framework
• Must have demonstrated capability of working in a global IT service in a multi-cultural and matrixed environment
• Must have a proven knowledge of Business Process Workflow, specific to commercial, financial and manufacturing business processes

Additional Required Skills:

• Proven experience in delivering to both internal and external audit requirements
• Solid experience in automation of scripting, test automation, data configuration, web based workflow and report generation
• Mobile application experience
• Demonstrated experience of Software Development Life Cycle
• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of the organization, specifically in adapting system requirements to business needs
• 2+ years of oracle experience working with PL/SQL and related tools
• Ability to quickly create and deliver prototypes with the objective to secure new business opportunities
• Proven analytical and project planning skills
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality
• Requires excellent organization, communication, planning and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities
• Maintain a high level of professionalism

Required Education and experience:

Requires a minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science; a Master’s degree in an IT Discipline would be preferred and considered an asset, considering the global coverage of the service.
