Abney & Baker provides a wide range of innovative care and support services across the communities of Bath, Keynsham, Saltford and West Wiltshire.

We are committed to delivering services to the highest possible standards and believe this can only be achieved by finding the best care and support staff, rewarding them for the contribution they make and providing an environment where they can continue to learn and develop.

We are committed both to fair pay and to sharing the success of the company with all our staff.

Our market-beating rates of pay are £9.30 on weekdays and £10.85 on weekends.

There is no 'small print' around our pay rates. These rates apply to all staff and apply when you're delivering care, travelling and waiting between visits, being trained or attending meetings.

Additionally we offer:

- profit share bonus;
- paid mileage;
- realistic, scheduled and fully paid travel and waiting time between visits;
- continuity of assignment to clients;
- visits designed to allow you to spend time with the client;
- genuine training and development opportunities;
- an open and supportive culture that is behind you at every step;
- opportunities to get involved in community activities.

We believe in hiring people who share our values and, following growing demand for our services, we’re looking for dedicated care workers in and around Bath to fill full-time positions of 4 or 5 days a week including working alternate weekends.

We'd love to hear from you if you:

- are compassionate and empathetic;
- are patient, calm and reassuring even in a crisis;
- are good communicators and listeners;
- have a genuine desire to help other people;
- are flexible and approachable;
- have a positive attitude and adapt well to change;
- have an attention to detail in everything you do;
- enjoy working as part of a team;
- can also work on your own initiative;
- are committed to your own development.

If you are committed to building a career in personal support and care, have a real belief in delivering the highest standards of customer service and are looking for a role where you can have a very real impact on other people’s quality of life then we’d love to hear from you.

We're looking for the following:

- 1 year of care and support delivery experience
- Full UK Driver's Licence
- Own transport
