A professional Environmental Consultancy seek a Site Technician who will be involved in a varied and diverse role.

The role will involve the following:

* Undertaking site investigative walkovers, onsite testing and monitoring activities.
* Organising site works and contractors involved
* Accessing monitoring locations and setting up equipment
* Operation of test equipment
* Collation of site information relating to the monitoring and testing
* Interaction and communication with customer contacts, external contractors etc.
* Adherence to company and client health and safety protocols
* Cleaning, preparation, repair, calibration and maintenance of test equipment
* Maintaining stocks of consumable items
* Occasional to regular assessments and surveys for the Noise and Traffic and Transport teams.

What we are ideally looking for:

* An interest and understanding of environmental disciplines particularly Hydrology/Hydrogeology/Geotechnical/Noise
* A relevant qualification HNC/HND or similar in geography/environmental sciences/civil engineering, however full training will be provided.
* A full clean driving license is essential as extensive travel, including overnight stays, will be involved.
* Site work experience is very desirable but not essential
* IT Excel and word particularly, numeracy and literacy skills, able to operate spreadsheet systems, input, extract and present complex data.
* Basic map reading skills

* Attention to detail providing accurate reports and results
* Health and Safety Risk Assessments awareness with experience being desirable but not essential
