Field Services Supervisor (120jc) – London – up to £40k + Benefits

My client is one of the globes leading integrator of payment and information solutions and related services for intelligent travel applications, and they are now seeking to recruit a dynamic Field Services Supervisor for their expanding team.

They challenge themselves to remain at the forefront of their industry and continually develop new tools to keep up with ever-changing technologies and the growing demand for simpler travel solutions.

Your role will be to co-ordinate and run a small Maintenance Team providing maintenance & fault finding on TFL street furniture and support to the Network Availability Manager.

Therefore your role will be:
• To manage and co-ordinate a small maintenance team on shift, organizing all works and reporting, inductions etc.
• Produce detailed reports for the Network Availability Manager following shift day/night completion
• Carry out routine and Preventative Maintenance
• Attend faults and ensure the use of a logical approach to fault finding.
• Ensure all activities are performed safely and to a high standard.
• Ensure asset maintenance is reported in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide support to the Network Availability Manager
• Perform Workshop repairs & modifications to component level and accurately record.
• Work in a Safety critical arena, roadside, in Tunnels and at Height
• Attending and proactively participating in the Maintenance Team meetings
• Deputise for the Network Availability Manager when required.
• Work in a shift pattern
• Ensure all reactive maintenance tasks are reported through the Client system ( SFM)
• Provides Technical documentation/ information for Network Availability Manager
• Fault repair down to Component level
• Comply with Company’s Quality Management System
• Comply with Company Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures
• Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisations
• In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the jobholder is required to perform other duties assigned by the supervisor/manager from time to time, as may be reasonably required of them

The ideal individual would probably be JNCO/SNCO from a construction or engineering background, who is seeking to move into a more management type role in the near future.
