Account Manager / Channel Manager / Distribution Partner Manager required for an excellent with leading global automation specialist.

The role is to manage and grow sales within a specified geographic area through the distribution channel. The emphasis will be development of distribution business and associated demand creation.

As Account Manager / Channel Manager / Distribution Partner Manager there are 3 main parts to the role:

- Generate opportunities with end users / machine builders / OEM's / Panel builders for automation products including PLC's, HMI's, Motion & Drives, Safety Products, Sensors, work with distributors and channel partners to convert into an order
- Work on joint projects with premier partners and local approved distributors to support them with customers 
- Manager distributors and provide training 

Additional responsibilities will include:

- Develop a strong working relationship at all levels with distributors in the area.
- Produce and agree annual sales plans with Distributors identifying key areas for growth.
- Co-ordinate all distribution support and training activities including use of FAE`s.
- Introduce new product lines to Distributors.
- Find new business opportunities and convert them to orders.
- Communicate successes to Sales Management and Marketing teams.

As Account Manager / Channel Manager / Distribution Partner Manager working for global automation OEM you will have the following experience:

- Knowledge of distribution strategies and varying Routes-to-Market is essential. Understand the business process including: logistics costs, transaction costs, stock rotation, payment terms, margins etc.
- Broad knowledge of industrial automation including PLC's, HMI's, Motion & Drives, Safety Products, Sensors

Working from home you will be supporting all channel partner and distributor activity in the North West.
