Are you a passionate Support Worker seeking a fun and rewarding position within the Health and Social Care industry? Have you never worked in Social care before but you're looking for a change and to gain experience within a Caring environment? We are currently seeking kind hearted, passionate people to work within Residential Care homes in and around the Southampton area to accomplish giving vulnerable adults an exceptional quality of life and support. The rate of pay for these positions is £7.50-9.00 per hour.

You will be joining a thriving, friendly team and be supported to grow within your position. Within this role there are fantastic training opportunities if desired. These vacancies are both full time and part time! There are both day and night shifts available. These vacancies are typically on a 13 week Temporary to Permanent basis.

Your responsibilities within these positions:

* Supporting Service users with their daily routines
* Referring to individual care plans to ensure the best and correct care is provided
* One to one and group work with service users
* Accompanying Service users on day trips such as; Shopping, swimming and eating out to encourage their social skills and physical activity
* Supporting service users with their medication
* Encouraging service users independence
* Assisting service users with mobility equipment
* Manual handling and personal care
* Actively promote a responsible caring attitude at all times, treating all service users with dignity and respect

Requirements for our Support Worker positions:

* You will need to be able to stay calm within potentially stressful situations
* Be able to maintain a relaxed and professional manor at all times
* Have good communication skills
* Feel comfortable 'thinking on your feet'
* Some previous care experience desired but is not essential
* Feel comfortable creating activities within an indoor setting and also feel comfortable supporting service users out in the community e.g eating out and shopping.
