We are looking for an Account Manager to join a friendly and team orientated IT company that offers a great work/ life balance that is thriving ever growing and expanding.

The goal is to provide the right IT security solutions to protect customers business. The successful Account Managers will work closely with a team of new business consultants, technical pre-sales consultants and key business stakeholders. A basic salary of circa £30k (negotiable) is on offer with an OTE of circa £60k + excellent benefits

About the role:

You will manage a small pool of key customers, some of which include major household brands, selling solutions such as Intel Security, McAfee, Hexis, Palo Alto, CheckPoint and Fortinet

You will manage existing contracts and to increase sales, managing the progression of opportunities through the whole sales cycle. It is important to have the ability to manage a range of projects, ensuring clients consistently receive value and quality service.

Responsibilities:

* Hit and exceed monthly/quarterly targets achieving high performance standards
* Produce accurate forecasting and reporting
* Generate new business within existing accounts
* Negotiate with customers and vendors to ensure maximum margin
* Produce quotes and proposals for full solutions
* Present on site as and when necessary and take part in marketing activities as required

Experience and personal capabilities:

To be successful in this role you will need to be ambitious, assertive, decisive, highly self-motivated, optimistic, persuasive and personable with excellent networking skills. The successful IT Account Manager should have experience in B2B sales/account management, ideally within IT/telecoms (any experience of IT security would be highly beneficial)

A full driving license is required as part of the role
