The Company:

My client is an established training provider who have been around for over 25 years, and have a strong reputation within the industry, mainly due to the quality of staff they have on their team. This role has become available due to expansion as the company are now seeking to expand further.

The Role:

We're seeking to appoint an experienced Hospitality AND Management Assessor who can deliver Apprenticeships in the subject up to Level 5 (L3 Hospitality; L5 Management). This role requires you to deliver Functional Skills level 2 as part of the full framework, as well as full autonomy regarding your diary management/caseload management. The Hospitality aspect of this role will predominantly focus on the Back of House operation.

This role covers the Yorkshire / Humber regions, and as such requires you to have a Full UK Driving Licence.

You will be required to train, asses, motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving their qualifications, maximising the use of e-learning and a variety of other assessment methods to ensure learners have the chance to evidence their knowledge.

You will also be required to maintain and enhance relationships with business support teams to support the delivery of the Assessment Business Plan, and ensure all learners experience quality standards in line with Company & Ofsted guidelines.

The Candidate:

A strong occupational background in Health and Social Care is required for this position, as well as being a qualified Assessor/Trainer. Previous experience using E-Portfolio systems is an advantage, but full training will be provided. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational qualities, strong communication skills, and great attention to detail.

Essential Qualifications / Experience Required:

Assessor award (A1, TAQA, D32 etc.)

Training qualification (PTLLS, CertEd,7407 etc.)

Experience of delivering hospitality, catering and management qualifications

Experience of working within the back of house operation

Desirable Qualifications / Experience:

IV qualification (V1, D36, etc.)

Food Safety qualification

Experience of working within the front of house operation

Experience of an OFSTED inspection

Salary & Benefits:

Salary is £22,000 to £25,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience
