A Supplier Quality Engineer job with a tier-1 automotive manufacturing organisation located near to Chester

Your new company
You will be working for a globally recognised tier-1 automotive component manufacturer, who have production facilities located worldwide. Your new company are well-established in their market, providing some of the worlds most renowned automotive OEM's with high quality automotive components.

Your new role
In your new role as Supplier Quality Engineer, your main focus is to drive Supplier improvements through PPAP in order to reduce PPM satisfying both Supplier and site requirements. You will also be responsible for ensuring that Suppliers are conversant with and using 8D for their problem solving tool, providing guidance and training if appropriate. As Supplier Engineer you will need to be proactive in your approach in ensuring that components reaching your new employer are of the highest quality, avoiding repeat concerns.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in your new role as Supplier Quality Engineer, you will have a strong understanding of TS16949 with good working knowledge of core quality tools such as PPAP and 8D. You will have had previous experience in a similar role and will be comfortable discussing Quality issues with all levels of production staff.

What you'll get in return
