Graphic Designer (Jnr)

Based in our Manchester Head office located in Trafford Park (M17), we are looking to recruit a full time and permanent Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Department. Working Monday to Friday, 40hrs/wk (typical working hours 08:30 to 17:30 finish), we are looking to recruit junior graphic designer to work in a dedicated role with your Marketing team. Typical duties will involve producing designs and typology with creative flair that gets the Company’s marketing strategy and messages across with a high visual impact. The job involves using photography and videography, computer graphics and software packages (Adobe Creative Suite) to produce designs for products, websites, packaging, labelling, catalogues, magazines, corporate identity, advertising, exhibitions and displays. The individual must be happy, helpful and smiley in character and possesses and ‘Can do approach’ to their work and personal life in order for the individual to provide an consummate level of service to our customers.

Essential experience of:
- Working within a dedicated Marketing Department
- Qualified with specialist Marketing and Graphic Design qualification
- Happy and outgoing in attitude
- Able to interpret the Company’s brief and work within Company specified timescales and design criteria
- A genuinely friendly individual who wants to get to know and understand the customer better
- Creatively focussed, to ensure that each design possesses a and creates a positive impact
- Neat and tidy, able to interpret the Company’s professional image within their work
- Strong computer (Mac) skills – Specifically in design and photoshop

Desirable experienced in:
- Worked as a dedicated Graphic Designer
- Worked within a dedicated Marketing department or Marketing Agency
- Driving licence (full)
- Time Management and Organisational skills

What we are looking for:
- Ideally educated to Degree or Further Educational standards in a Graphic Design course with GCSE (or equivalent) passes in English or Maths (desirable, although this is not a necessity)
- The ability to be customer focused in all things
- Good Written communication skills
- Conscientious, hardworking and accurate
- The ability to manage a varied workload in a dynamic situation
- The ability to fit into and contribute towards a “can do” culture
- Measured and common sense approach
