About the History Teaching Assistant role
This History Teaching Assistant position involves working exclusively within the Humanities Department, supporting Teachers both in and outside of the classroom. Throughout this History Teacher role, you will be supporting the learning of pupils in 1-1 and group sessions of targeted intervention, allowing pupils that are falling behind to catch up with their peers. As you grow in confidence, your History Teaching Assistant post will develop into a Cover Supervisor role, this will enable you to take on pre-planned History lessons, perfecting your classroom delivery skills ahead of joining Teacher training.
