International £multimillion group seeks a FMCG / Retail Sales Manager to expand their presence in the UK and International automotive market.

BASIC SALARY: £30,000 – £35,000 + £15,000 Commission & Bonus realistic 1st yrs OTE

THE COMPANY - FMCG / Retail Sales Manager – Automotive

As a £multi-million, entrepreneurial business within the Automotive consumable market we have an ambitious strategy to expand our presence within the Retail / Motorfactors / Automotive OEM`s and Aftermarket sectors. To achieve this growth, we wish to recruit a hungry Retail Sales Manager with a passion for bringing a product to market and developing its growth. You will be a self-starter, looking for a company to see your talent and allow you to be the successful hunter you know you can be.

REPORTING TO THE SALES DIRECTOR YOUR PRIMARY FOCUS WILL BE TO:

*Exceed the sales target by delivering a focused sales approach to a wide variety of Retailers (80%,
such as major multiples, Groceries, Convenience, Automotive Retailers, Wholesalers / Cash and Carry) as well as Motorfactors (20%).
*Time spilt between acquiring new business (75%) and expanding accounts (25%).
*Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders (Buyers/ Category Manager / Directors), understand
their business requirements and provide category / listing options.
*Identify, qualify and create a pipeline of potential customers (short, medium and long-term) through a robust CRM system.

LOCATION: Home based with travel to the Head office once a week.

TERRITORY: UK wide - predominately travelling in the Midlands, South West, South East.

This role will challenge you, require your can do attitude and persistence to drive through and close the sale. In return you will be joining a financially stable business whom actively invest and develop their employees.

Whilst a proven track record of selling to the Retail / FMCG / Motorfactor sector is preferable, we are equally willing to consider applications from candidates who have product or buying/ category experience within the Retail / FMCG /Factor sector.

AS WELL AS:

*Being an exceptional communicator with the ability to forge strong professional and persuasive relationships at all levels.
*A clear understanding on how to effectively analyse market trends.
*Having a naturally inquisitive nature with a sharp eye for detail and identifying opportunities.
*Being commercially astute and calm in negotiation handling.
*The flexibility to travel UK wide, minimum international travel, a passport and UK Driving licence.
