We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our Management Team. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will lead a team of 4 Team Managers across multiple manufacturing disciplines to ensure the successful operation of the site. With this hire, the Senior Operations Manager requires an individual who has the acumen, aspirations and potential to be their potential successor.

Your key priority will be ensuring that we meet our customers’ expectations by producing Coca Cola’s world class brand through effective execution of our Business Quality plan that also meets KORE requirements. You will be responsible for high speed & world class efficiency manufacturing bottling lines which consists of either PET (polyethylene terephthalate) or glass containers in both large and small formats. Your role will be to manage, coach and develop your teams to reach their full potential and deliver the sites production plans within the budgeted targets.

What to expect

- Deliver the daily planned targets of Crewed Productivity, line efficiencies, planned downtime events and production volume.
- Maintain and improve the site’s Quality, Environment and Health & Safety standards.
- Execution of the legal requirements for product safety, quality, environment and people are met and improved.
- Control, reduce and improve line wastage, Raw Materials and syrup usage through packaging waste, fills, rejects line charge ups and run out management.
- Improve and embed the Operational Excellence foundations of standards across the plant to deliver consist performance levels in everything that we do through effective implementations of the sites routines.
- Ensure that asset care & maintenance tasks and schedules are executed in line with the lines maintenance plan.
- Manage the sites labour budget by operating to the core manning levels at all times and reducing cost wherever possible when volume levels drop using the conditions set out in the BOP (Business Operating Procedures).
- Deliver high standards of GMP (Good Manufacturing practices), in line with KORE standards.
- Grow, develop and engage your team via our performance management processes including developing a pipeline of talent for the future.

What we expect of you

- Ideally graduate calibre with engineering/manufacturing management qualification.
- Pervious Management experience of more than 5 years within an FMCG.
- Must be flexible.
- Proven track record on achieving winning performance and have a desire to win
- Problem solving skills with experience of root cause analyst, DMAIC or fish bone/5 ways.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Time management.
- Demonstrate excellent cost control.
- PC skills, World, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
