Our client is a full service digital agency based in Ipswich. They are looking for an experience Developer on a perm basis.

You’ll lead medium and large development projects and provide ad hoc support and mentor the wider development team. You will work closely other developers and the Support Developer on individual projects for Clients and provide coaching and mentoring to any Junior Developers.

Principle accountabilities
Examples of key accountabilities of the role
• Development of websites and applications based on functional and technical specifications
• Take technical lead of large and medium development projects and co-ordinate Developer and Junior Developer resources as appropriate
• Write technical specifications for project when directed
• Estimating the development resource required to implement the technical solutions for Client projects to assist with forecasting and quotes
• Keep up to date with functionality and seek to recommend new and more effective implementation of the preferred CMS system (Kentico)
• Responsible for completion of all work within project timelines and budgets
• Identify and solve potential issues and highlight to Technical Director as necessary
• Production of relevant documentation when required

Experiences and competencies
Details of knowledge, skills and experience required of the role
• Highly experienced .NET C# developer with experience developing a variety of Web and application based solutions
• Over 5 years commercial experience working on website development.
Extensive experience of using the following technologies:
• ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC and WebAPI
• C#
• HTML5 and responsive frameworks (Foundation Zurb and Twitter Bootstrap)
• CSS/CSS3, SASS, Gulp
• JavaScript and frameworks (jQuery, KnockoutJS, AngularJS)
• SQL Server, T-SQL
• Wide experience of content management systems, ideally Kentico CMS.
• Solid knowledge/experience of working with mobile technologies developing apps for Android, IPhone and Windows Phones would be desirable.
• Ability to coach and mentor other developers
