The Canteen Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the canteen and to maintain the hotels’ policies and procedures.

Canteen Supervisor Key Responsibilities Include:

·To organize the shift and delegate to staff for which you are responsible, to make sure Hotel standards are maintained.

·To organize the shift with regards to mis-en-place production and its service

·To prepare the food for the canteen to the required standards, and within the canteen budget.

·To ensure that the canteen is prepared for each service, food dating storage and fridge temp checks recorded twice a day

·To give tasks to the assistants and check that they are carried out in a correct manner.

·To keep the area clean and tidy.

·To attend any training session as required

·To be fully conversant with the hotel and fire emergency procedures

·To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene at all times.

·To know and follow the Health & Safety at Work Act.

Canteen supervisor / porter- Commi level cooking / food hygiene / handling skills required , able to control stock and rotation

Level 2 food safety cert a plus, but training can be organised by us

Flexible shifts available
