An established East Sussex residential contractor are now looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee commercial aspect of projects across the local Sussex and Kent areas. This business is a privately owned contractor and work solely in the residential sector on both private developments for others and social housing schemes with repeat clients.

* Preparation of interim and final accounts.
* Manage day to day commercial and contract activities.
* Sub-contract procurement ensuring maximum value for money.
* Sub-contract valuations and final accounts.
* Working knowledge of D&B and JCT Conditions of Contract.
* Contractual correspondence.
* Commercial reporting.
* Ability to undertake site measures when required.
* Explore the contract for opportunities and entitlements.
* Work closely with site management teams to ensure contract objectives and margins are met.
