Established in 2009, City and County Healthcare are the UK’s largest provider of domiciliary care. The City and County Group has an extensive network of local branches across the UK and due to continuous expansion, we are looking for a talented Bid Manager – PQQ’s to join our Senior Management team on a fixed term contract to cover Maternity leave. This role is home based.
The majority of our services are commissioned by local authorities (or health and social care trusts in Northern Ireland), but we also provide services to NHS commissioners and to a growing number of private individuals. We require an experienced Bid Manager – PQQs to work within our Bid Team to produce high quality responses to PQQ’s, invitations to tenders, case studies and presentations. An understanding of the health and social market and public sector commissioning processes is essential to the role.The Bid Manager PQQ’s expected to:

Write and coordinate PQQs and tenders alongside the Bid Team Manager, the Bid Managers and Bid and Contracts Coordinator/Administrator*
Prepare summaries of opportunities to communicate with Senior Managers in the business the key aspects of each opportunity*
Manage the process and people including finance and operations, briefing them regarding the opportunity at a kick off teleconference, ensuring any requirements of them such are pricing or delivery model are clearly shared, understood and delivered upon*
Population of the PQQs and tenders with standard company information for the operating companies within the group*
Preparing written method statements drawing on the library, Qvidian software text and previous submissions, policy research and local research. This will include preparing bespoke content for submissions*
Ensure PQQ and bid documentation is properly formatted, collated and presented in a professional and timely manner;*
Proofread written documentation prior to submission*
Work flexibly in order to meet tight deadlines*
This is a full-time, fixed term contract to cover Maternity leave, with the opportunity to work with one of the most experienced and capable senior management teams in the social care sector
