Commercial Insurance Account Handler (Senior)

£25,000 - £35,000 + great bonus & benefits

Busy lively firm of Commercial Insurance brokers, where they have been enjoying sustained expansion, and are rolling out further plans for growth. This opportunity is recognised as a Senior or Key Account Handling role within the team.

Taking responsibilities for own allocated portfolio of existing Commercial Insurance clients - encompassing all aspects of renewals, adjustments and claims handling.
•Renewals - quoting, re-broking to the market, negotiations with Insurers
•Adjustments & policy adjustments
•Checking and issuing of policy documentation and schedules
•Responding to day to client queries and correspondence
•Maintaining accurate and compliant database records
•Providing initial assistance and advice in relation to claims, interfacing with insurers to ensure the smooth and speedy handling of claims cases.
•While this is an office based role, there will be opportunities to attend at client meetings from time to time.

Skills & experience required:
•The salary banding reflects that our client is happy to consider different levels of experience for the role - from a minimum of 3 years current/recent Commercial Insurance Broking experience.
•A good all round technical/product knowledge of the main classes of business - Property, Liability, Motor Fleet, Commercial Motor, Business Interruption etc.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•Cert CII or progress ACII is an advantage, and is fully supported
