Are you an experience General Ledger Team Leader? Do you have a strong skillset for people management and process improvement? Have you got a passion for building strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders

A hugely exciting global business based in Manchester City Centre are looking for a General Ledger Team Leader to head up a team of 10 and add value by improving processes in place at the moment. The right candidate will be ambitious, seeking the chance to add value and strengthen your already excellent skills within a managerial.

Responsibilities will include:

* Managing the General Ledger Team - 10 and growing
* Leading the team through month end and year end reporting
* Ensuring the timely closure of period end in accordance with IFRS requirements
* Liaising with external audit teams
* Maintain & improve the relationships with all key suppliers
* Supporting team with preparation and completion of financial accounts
* Measuring the performance of team using KPI's and one to one appraisals
* Look to improve all processes and procedures

Key Skills and Experience

* Experience of working with IFRS & Financial Accounts
* SAP experience is essential
* Proven ability to add value and enhance processes
