Cubed Resourcing are delighted to be recruiting on the behalf of our specialist metals organisation based in Sheffield.
They are seeking a Quality Compliance Manager to join their management team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious quality professional from a manufacturing, aerospace or similar background that are looking to take their next step with a successful business.
As the Quality Compliance Manager / Quality Assurance Manager, you will be tasked with co-ordinating the client's transition fromAS9100 Rev. C toAS9100 Rev. D standards, and the implementation of NADCAP accreditation for Heat Treatment.
With support from the management team, you`ll project manage the development of processes and procedures that will fill the gap between current quality management system and AS9100 Rev. D / NADCAP system requirements. You`ll manage customer and certification approvals ensuring that any issues raised are followed through to conclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
·        Establishing and introducing risk and configuration management within the business
·        Taking ownership of change control processes
·        Implementing and improving on quality KPIs
·        Maintain the internal audit programs for the above standards
·        Maintain and develop the QMS and quality structure
·        Assisting other areas of the business with quality system improvements
Person Specification:
·        Previous experience in an ISO 9001and AS9100 environment in a manufacturing, aerospace or similar industry
·        Demonstrable experience of managing the quality journey to aerospace standards (AS9100)
·        Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as a practical approach to problem solving
·        An excellent grip of quality problem solving tools across 8d, 5Whys and root cause analysis
·        Meticulous eye for detail and the determination to succeed are also key
·        An appreciation of Metallurgy and material property changes because of different processing methods.
·        Lead auditor experience
