The role

The role of the Paraplanner is to support the Chief Executive and Financial Planners when informing and advising clients on financial strategies, plans and products, IT operations and organise the technical task and workflow for the business.
You will work as part of a team alongside the firm’s advisers to provide clients with a professional ongoing financial planning experience, prepare and maintain client files ensuring all paperwork held is present, relevant and compliant, undertake relevant research to identify suitable solutions to meet a client’s specific objectives, implement recommendations, act as a main point of contact and deal effectively with client queries, arrange agreed client meetings with the client and adviser and when instructed, review client investment portfolios, asset allocations, risk profile etc.

Your experience

We are looking for a professional and organised individual with previous experience of working in a relevant financial planning role plus be a holder of CII or CISI certification. You will have good knowledge of FCA guidelines plus experience using software packages including Intelligent Officer and Dynamic Planner. You will be able to prioritise your workload, have excellent written and oral communication skills, have good report writing skills and be accurate with high attention to detail.
