They are in a fortunate position to be adding a Pre - Admissions Nurse to their already multi skilled team. The role

The role within the team will involve providing the highest levels of planned care across the hospital wards. From initial pre-admission checks in which you will:
* Devise a suitable care strategy.
* Flag up any potential risks.
* Obtain permission for procedures.

Through to discharging the patients as they leave us with an appropriate aftercare plan, you will take an exceptional level of interest in securing the health and safety of every patient. Exercising your fantastic clinical skills, you will be able to juggle a complex case load while making every person in your care feel like they're your only priority.

What they are looking for:

As a registered nurse with good clinical competence, you will have a solid understanding of all mandatory training requirements such as infection control. Ideally working towards a qualification in a clinical specialism, you'll be a collaborative team-player with a passion for providing outstanding customer service. Able to speak English to a high standard, your impressive interpersonal and communication skills will make you an essential part of this team - as will your enthusiasm for always striving to improve our services.

Registered General Nurse
Evidence of on going professional development
NMC registered

2 years experience of working ideally within Surgery/ Orthopaedics or Pre assessment
Clinical Governance and relevant healthcare legislation and frameworks
Assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating individualised and evidence based nursing care
