Learning Facilitator in Hairdressing
Lecturer in Hairdressing
37 hours / 40 weeks per year
Fixed Term Contract up to 12 months (Maternity Cover)
We require a Learning Facilitator in Hairdressing to work under the direction of the Head of Faculty Service Industries.
The successful applicant will have a good all round level of education to include Maths and English to GCSE (Grade A-C) or equivalent level (level 2), a minimum of a level 3 qualification in Hairdressing, and must hold or be willing to immediately commence obtaining the Assessor Award.
The successful applicants will perform practical demonstrations and instruction to individuals and/or small groups of learners, monitor the progress of learners and carry out competence-based assessment and/or assessment to standard formats. Recent industrial/commercial experience and flexibility with regard to workload is essential. The successful applicants must have good organisational and communication skills.

It is proposed that Tresham College will merge with Bedford College on 1stAugust 2017. Any successful candidate appointed after this date will be employed under Bedford College terms and conditions.
