Lecturer in Hairdressing

37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year

Salary range: £18,429 - £23,364 (Unqualified), £24,781 - £33,323 (Qualified) per annum, pro rata

We require a Lecturer in Hairdressing at our Kettering campus, to co-ordinate the internal verification process and hold regular IV/team meetings and to manage and develop the commercial establishments.

The successful candidate will be expected to maintain and co-ordinate all aspects of the Hairdressing courses in the section, will be responsible for the effective delivery of the programme of study. You will be expected to maximise student recruitment, achievement and retention.

The successful candidate should have a good all round level of education to include Maths and English to GCSE (Grade A - C) or equivalent level (level 2). You should hold a degree or equivalent in related subject area and also hold or be willing to work towards a Certificate in Education. You should also hold or be willing to work towards the Assessor Awards A1/V1.
