Performing Arts Technician

Fixed Term Contract 1 year

Hours: 37 HPW, 45.6 weeks per year

Salary: £13,366 (Full Time Equivalent £15,242 pro rata)

We are looking for an excellent candidate who can provide daily support with on-going departmental practical work across Theatre, Music and Performing Arts, offering varied technical assistance to the busy Performing Arts Department. The role requires a broad range of technical abilities and a strong background in music or music technology is an essential skillset.

You will assist staff and students with the use of the audio, visual and lighting technical equipment and train students and staff on how to use the various types of equipment.

A key element of the role will be to supervise and support practical performance work, on and off-site productions and examinations throughout the year.

The closing date is 26 June 2017 at 9am and interviews will take place on 06 July 2017.
